During the official visit of a German delegation to Egypt, the representatives of the delegation underlined their strong commitment to promoting cooperation between Germany and Egypt. The focus was on strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations throughout Africa. We are particularly pleased that our Managing Director, Rüdiger School, took part in this important exchange as the official education representative. The delegation was accompanied by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, which further underlined the importance of this visit and put the focus on German-Egyptian cooperation.

During the numerous meetings with decision-makers from business and education, the great interest in certified German training became apparent. Telc language examinations, which are internationally recognized, offer a valuable opportunity to demonstrate German language skills at the A1 until C2 level. It is particularly pleasing that the branch office of the Saxony International School (SIS) in Egypt, not only German, but also English and Spanish can be taken as Telc exams.

The topic preparatory college and subsequent access to German universities met with great interest from the Egyptian representatives. This offer opens the way for graduates to study in Germany and increases their chances on the international job market.

Our aim is to offer all our pupils, trainees and students - both at the SIS in Cairo and at our vocational schools and universities - the opportunity to complete their German language skills with a Telc certificate. This certification is not only the key to successful studies in Germany, but also the entry into a well-paid professional future.

The visit was an important step towards further strengthening German-Egyptian relations and an expression of the shared vision of successful educational and economic cooperation in the region.
