Saxony International School has been a steadily developing educational institution in eastern Germany since 2009. SIS comprises 18 elementary school, grammar schools and secondary schools in south-west Saxony.
After the success and years of experience in Germany, SIS Cairo West was the first SIS school with an innovative German curriculum to go abroad - to Egypt.

GGB Gesellschaft zur ganzheitlichen Bildung gemeinnützige GmbH Sachsen, or GGB for short, has established itself as a competent and valued partner in the field of child and youth welfare since 1998 and now operates 20 foreign language daycare centers. GGB's bilingual facilities are spread across the districts of Zwickau, Central Saxony, Geithain and the Erzgebirgskreis in Germany.
We at SIS Cairo West have adopted the exceptional concept of GGB at our kindergarten. For example, our children learn different foreign languages in a playful and natural way as early as kindergarten age.
Early childhood education is not primarily about imparting knowledge, but about developing and strengthening your child's skills. In this context, we consider the development of social competence and the ability to work in a team to be particularly important.
In the higher grades, regular student exchanges will take place between students of SIS Cairo West and students of SIS schools in Germany.
Pen-pal friendships are developed between students of SIS Cairo West and students of SIS schools in Germany. This is how international friendships are formed.
Our students are given the opportunity to complete their Abitur at one of our SIS schools in Germany. The students live in our dormitory for two to three years and are looked after around the clock.
