The second Grade excursion to Hazel Farm was a complete success - a day that ideally combined practical learning and experiencing nature. The students were able to get hands-on: they planted seeds, harvested seasonal vegetables, fed the farm animals, baked fresh bread and enjoyed an exciting tractor ride.

The children enjoyed discovering where our food comes from, how to look after animals responsibly and the work that goes into running a farm. The direct contact with nature and the active participation made the day an unforgettable experience.

The Hazel Farm not only offered lots of fun in the fresh air, but also valuable learning impulses that enrich everyday school life. A day full of movement, laughter and exciting impressions.
