SIS Cairo West recently hosted a high-ranking delegation from Saxon State Parliament to welcome them on their campus. The delegation was led by Peter Oliver Fritzsche, chairman of the working group and head of the delegation, and accompanied by other members of parliament.
The visit was complemented by representatives of German-Egyptian Chamber of Commerce as well as the DAAD, which enabled a particularly diverse and professionally sound exchange.
During a comprehensive campus tour, the guests gained insights into the modern learning environment and the school's educational concept. Following this, the SIS Group was presented and its role in the international education landscape explained.
Furthermore, a joint lunch provided an opportunity for an intensive dialogue on current educational policy issues, international cooperation, and perspectives of German-Egyptian cooperation in the field of education.
The delegation was thoroughly impressed – both by the high level of expertise of the students and by their language skills and the holistic educational concept of the school.
The visit also laid the foundation for possible future exchange programs and collaborations that are intended to further strengthen the close connection between Saxony and Egypt in the field of education.
