Our IB Diploma can also be referred to as the GIB (mixed-language International Baccalaureate). This form of the IB requires adherence to specific guidelines, which ultimately make the qualification equivalent to the Abitur (German university entrance qualification) and grant access to German universities.

We offer the IB in German, giving our students direct access to German universities. A specific combination of subjects is crucial for obtaining the general university entrance qualification. In addition to German, at least biology and history are taught in German. Furthermore, students must take at least one foreign language and mathematics. The sixth subject is an elective and is chosen according to the students' interests and strengths.
