Since 2009, Saxony International School (SIS) has grown steadily as an education provider in eastern Germany. SIS comprises 18 primary schools, grammar schools and secondary schools in south-west Saxony.
Following its success and years of experience in Germany, SIS Cairo West became the first SIS school abroad with an innovative German curriculum – in Egypt.

GGB Gesellschaft zur ganzheitlichen Bildung gemeinnützige GmbH Sachsen (GGB Society for Holistic Education, a non-profit limited liability company in Saxony) has established itself as a competent and valued partner in the field of child and youth welfare since 1998 and now operates 20 multilingual daycare centers. GGB's bilingual facilities are located throughout Germany in the districts of Zwickau, Mittelsachsen, Geithain, and Erzgebirgskreis.
At SIS Cairo West, we have adopted the exceptional GGB concept for our kindergarten. For example, our children learn various foreign languages in a playful and natural way from a very young age.
Early childhood education is not primarily about imparting knowledge, but about developing and strengthening your child's abilities. We consider the development of social skills and teamwork to be particularly important in this regard.
In the higher grades, regular student exchanges will take place between students of SIS Cairo West and students of SIS schools in Germany.
Pen pal relationships are being developed between students of SIS Cairo West and students of SIS schools in Germany. This fosters international friendships.
Our students have the opportunity to complete their Abitur (university entrance qualification) at one of our SIS schools in Germany. For this purpose, the students live in our student residence for two to three years and receive 24/7 support.
